Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GetBerq LLC ("GetBerq", "we", "us"), a Wyoming limited liability company, handles information in connection with Growth OS, available at growth.getberq.com and app.getberq.com (the "Service").
Google API disclosure. Growth OS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password hash (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google), and the organization you create in the Service.
- Google user data you authorize: when you connect a Google product, we receive OAuth tokens and access only the data covered by the permissions you grant (see section 2).
- Usage and technical data: log data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and actions taken in the Service, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Communications: emails you send us.
2. Google user data: what we access and why
We request only the permissions needed for the features you use. You can grant them per product.
- Google Ads (
adwords): read campaign structure, settings and performance (including search terms) to generate recommendations; and apply changes only after you approve them in the Service, then read them back to confirm they were applied. - Google Analytics (
analytics.readonly,analytics.edit): read reports and property configuration (such as which events are marked as key events) to detect measurement problems. Edit access is used only to apply configuration changes you explicitly approve, such as creating an audience. - Google Search Console (
webmasters.readonly): read search performance data to identify keyword opportunities. Read-only. - Google Tag Manager (
tagmanager.readonly): read container configuration to audit tracking. Read-only. We never publish containers. - Sign-in (
openid,email,profile): identify your Google account when you connect or sign in.
3. How we use information
We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of the Service that you requested: auditing measurement, generating recommendations, applying changes you approve, verifying them, and showing results to you. Specifically, we do not:
- sell Google user data or any other personal data;
- use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting or personalized ads;
- transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide the Service, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you;
- use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models;
- allow humans to read Google user data, except with your affirmative consent for specific data (for example, to answer a support request), when necessary for security purposes, to comply with law, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
4. AI processing
Some features may use a third-party large-language-model provider to draft explanations of recommendations. When enabled, only the minimum data needed for that request is sent, under terms that prohibit the provider from training on it. These features are off unless explicitly enabled for your workspace.
5. Storage and security
- Data is stored on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union.
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Connections to the Service use TLS.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
- Each customer workspace is logically separated; data from one workspace is not used to make recommendations for another.
6. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example hosting and transactional email), under contracts that limit their use of the data; when required by law; or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.
7. Retention and deletion
- We keep Google data snapshots while your account is active so we can compare performance over time.
- When you disconnect a Google product, we revoke its access token with Google and stop accessing that product.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@getberq.com. We complete deletion within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
- You can also revoke Growth OS's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise them, email hello@getberq.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Service.
